Dr. Robert Purdy has currently been practicing pediatric dentistry in Bakersfield since 2001. Prior to coming to Bakersfield he practiced in Santa Maria, California for over ten years.
Dr. Robert Purdy is a member of the following professional societies: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Kern County Dental Society, American Dental Society and California Dental Society.
Dr. Purdy believes pediatric dentistry is a vital component of the dental field encompassing all children from infancy to adolescence.
Daniel Purdy,
D.M.D.
Prior to joining his father in their Bakersfield dental practice, Dr. Daniel Purdy spent two years as an associate in a large pediatric practice in Redding , California. Along with practicing in Bakersfield he recently has expanded his expertise and opened a new pediatric dental practice in Santa Barbara , California where he resides with his wife Meg Purdy. Dr. Daniel Purdy is a member of the following professional societies: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Kern County Dental Society, Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society, American Dental Society, and California Dental Society. Dr. Daniel Purdy is committed to promoting a positive dental experience for all children.

Dr. Robert Purdy received his degree in Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed a two year residency program for pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in conjunction with the Department of Pediatrics of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
Dr. Daniel Purdy
graduated from University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in History. He then continued with his education at the University of Louisville in Kentucky and received his D.M.D. In addition Dr. Daniel Purdy completed two years of
post-doctorate training at U.C.L.A. where he received his certificate as a Pediatric Dental Specialist. 
Dr. Todd Hillard Graduated From Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Botany, sum Laude. He then continued with his education at the University of texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX and received his D.D.S., magna cum laude.
In addition Dr. Hillyard completed a two year post-doctorate training at U.C.L.A. where he received his certificate as a Pediatric Dental Specialist. Prior to coming to Bakersfield, Dr. Hillyard has practiced pediatric dentistry and is currently a part-time faculty member at U.C.L.A. Department of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. Dr. Hillyard being a Eagle Scout has been very involed with Boys Scouts of America, and currently volunteers as a missionary in many deprived areas around the world.
